A song-writer, vocalist and co-producer, Llio (pronounced a bit like Kleeoh…but not really) is a Welsh, London-based, independent artist.
Blending elements from avant pop to electronic and cinematic soundscapes, all centred around her striking vocals, Llio produces emotionally intense tracks exploring an inner landscape of both struggle and transcendence.
Llio has worked as a singer, and as an actress, appearing in several Welsh-language TV dramas (including ’Tair Chwair” and “Cymer dy Siar” which were BAFTA nominated) as well as West End productions, Les Misérables and Beyond the Fence, which was filmed for Sky Arts.
In a previous chapter of her life, she was a qualified mental-health counsellor.
Llio’s father was Dr Tedi Millward, tutor of Prince Charles, and featured as the main storyline of Episode 6 in Season 3 of the smash Netflix series, The Crown.
